Badda Bingg opened on 9th Street, across from the PPL Tower in downtown Allentown and this is cause for celebration.
Many downtown employees had been ordering their take out from their Allentown Farmers Market location on Thursdays and Fridays. Now no one has to wait! They have a downtown restaurant opened over the weekend.
I stopped by for lunch yesterday and the place was hopping.
Ordered a portobello sandwich from a good selection of interesting Italian choices. Delish!

I've got this gut feeling that I'm going to eat there today. Or a rumbly-tumbly hungry stomach feeling.
This place is great! Ate there today....it was packed with lots of people for lunch...but to my pleasant surprise waiting for my food didn't take long at all. I hope this place is successful here after a long string of unfortunate closings.
The owners told me that they they did 100 sandwiches for lunch one day during their first week open. Then, the next day, they did 150 sandwiches.
